The Buyer/Planner is primarily responsible for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, and services. The Buyer/Planner will research, evaluate, and buy products to meet operational needs. It is the responsibility of the Buyer/Planner to find the best source to meet the organization's objectives and to negotiate the most favorable agreement possible. It is also the responsibility of the Buyer to follow-up or expedites orders to see that they are delivered as scheduled.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years experience in material procurement
- Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- APICS or ISM membership preferred
